Aetiology

• Background of auto-immune hypothyroidism
• Females aged 70-80 years

Clinical features

• Rapid onset mass in thyroid

Investigations

• Core biopsy

Management

• Chemotherapy (R-CHOP), radiotherapy or steroids
• Does not respond to RAI
